This is actually a remake of my Ozymandias cosplay I made in 2009. Since then I discovered so many new materials to work with (Wonderflex, Worbla) and wanted to do create the armor parts with those wonderful materials. The neckpiece and vambraces are both made out of worbla. I’m really happy and proud how everything turned out~

That’s it for today. Added another layer acryl-paste and tomorrow I will cover it will the last one, sand it and then add the gold color. Gosh, it could already be finished…/sigh
But now I’m going to sleep…I fell like I might have caught a flue…god damnit, I just want to finish my costumes in time…
And done - at least with the vambraces.
Of course I didn’t finish the whole costume this weekend…thanks to an immense heatwave. I only managed to finish them and the tunic, tomorrow I’ll try to finish the cape and skirt. When that’s done I only need to redo the neckpiece…
For today…I’m gonna finish the steelcaps for Harrys shoes. About 3 weeks left, I think I should finish the costumes in time.

Cosplay re-do
So, yesterday a friend and I went to the dutch fabric market in Mannheim. I haven’t bought that much, but I got what I had been coming for.
Fabric for my remake of my rule 63 Ozymandias cosplay, I did in…2009? Yes, that should be it and I look forward to re-do it, even though I was so proud how the costume had turned out back then. The fabric had the wrong color and the collar…when I look at it now I think it’s just horrible lol. But back then, there was no wonderflex or I didn’t knew it existed. Anyways, I’m soooo excited to start! Today I will start with the collar, even though I can’t finish it since I still need some tubes (lol don’t ask) to get it finished.
Starting a new costume without having finished Loki? Oh why not, I don’t have any event to wear Loki anyway, plus I’m to affraid the fur might get dirty.
